About Church's Farm Supplies Ltd.
Charles Wesley Church had a vision. At the early age of twenty-one,
he posessed a maturity which helped him create and cultivate a goal.
This in turn established a purpose and direction from which Church's
Farm Supplies was born over sixty years ago.
In 1948, Church's Farm Supplies began with carrying Case equipment.
In the late 50's, New Holland was added, followed by David Brown
in the 60's culminating in a full line to service our customer's
needs.
During the 1970's, major changes and challenges took place. First,
1972 saw fire destroy Church's original building. A new building
was erected with the determination to create another chapter. The
biggest and most devastating obstacle to overcome was to find the
courage to continue after the death of Charles Church in 1977. At
the age of twenty-two, John Church became involved in the business
full time.
The 1980's introduced a new set of challenges involving decisions
on machinery lines, adding computers and employees, and establishing
product lines to serve our ever growing customer base. Case IH became
the major line, JCB was added to create a strong industrial segment,
and Kubota joined to fulfill the lawn and garden division.
The 1990's created the opportunity to look back to 1948 and continue
the vision. To look toward the future and prepare for the next millennium
to be the best we can be. Having the confidence to move to a new
location, building facilities to serve our customers and continuing
the purpose and direction for our future goals.
We take great pride in our sixty-year heritage and hold many hopes
for the future.
